78° N SCREW TRAY

Greetings, enthusiasts.
Welcome to the interest check forum of our latest product, the “ 78° N SCREW TRAY ” by Aiglatson Studio. The intention of this post is to gauge interest and ask for the community’s feedback to estimate demand.


• INSPIRATION
The 78° N Screw Tray design is inspired by Saturn's Hexagon, a mysterious yet perfect hexagonal hurricane that crowns the solar system's most photogenic planet. This gigantic six-sided jet stream encircles Saturn's north pole near 78° N latitude was first discovered by NASA's Voyager mission in 1981 and was revisited by the Cassini mission in 2006.

"The hexagon is just a current of air, and weather features out there that share similarities to this are notoriously turbulent and unstable. A hurricane on Earth typically lasts a week, but this has been here for decades -- and who knows -- maybe centuries."

The 78° N is an elegant aluminium screw tray that features a minimal hexagonal design. They incorporate stylish engraving with enamel filling and contrasting colour custom rubber feet to compliment the overall look of the tray.

• DESIGN FEATURES
Finely sandblasted anodized/e-coating 6063 Aluminium Alloy
Rounded edge custom rubber feet
Engraving with enamel fill
95.36 mm in width and 13.7 mm thick (Includes rubber feet)

There are two editions of the tray: Standard and Magnetized.

Me too. I was amazed by how perfect nature is. A hexagonal storm raging near Saturn’s north pole? It just completely blown my mind.

Thank you. The prototypes are currently in production and we will be contacting vendors very soon. The in-stock sale would probably run in Q3 2022.

Thank you. We have considered to make the it magnetized. However, the tray will have too sacrifice the clean look it currently having. Although, if there is a fair amount of demand, we will definitely reconsider it.

I’d also be interested in a magnetized version. Couldn’t magnets be hidden under the rubber feet without sacrificing anything lookswise?

Yes, this project will be the next in line. We are currently making some minor design changes. After numerous feedbacks, we've also decided to add  a magnetized version of the tray. The final design will be introduced soon. Stay tuned.

Most of runners doesn't give a sh*t about updates here. They use this community to acquire new customers without respecting the rules (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=115197.0). Although here they didn't brake them, they bypassed them by not creating a GB thread. Kinda worse.
