Title: Wrong Keys Registering
Post by: sbunschu2 on Fri, 03 June 2022, 14:54:37
Hi all,

I have a CU80 that worked fine for a few months (after I fixed the lifted pads with help from geekhack).
However, suddenly some keys are completely mixed up:

- Escape and ^ are switched
- Caps Lock and Control are switched
- Backspace registers as #
- Alt does not seem to work but the Windows key triggers Alt

I am using the ISO DE layout by the way and other keyboard work fine.

Is this a hardware issue or should I try flashhing the software?

That's a lot of randomness for one small fix - I'd try re-flashing the firmware first.

Hi guys, seems like it was indeed a software issue.
I flashed the keyboard using a Youtube QMK tutorial and now it works fine (just the RGB lighting is different than before).

Thanks for confirming that I should check the software first :)
