Hi everyone,

We are glad to come back to update Promise87 final GB items this week! Based on our IC feedback we’ve been able to finalize the final designs and prices. If you are new to Promise87 please kindly check its info below, if not, please skip to the GB Design and Price section.

Estimated GB Time
August 18 - September 6, 2022

GB pages will be released 3-4 days before GB officially starts.

Estimated Delivery Time
Standard edition:

Start Packing and sending to Wuque Studio direct customers or vendors before end of January, 2023.

Bespoke edition:

Start Packing and sending to Wuque Studio direct customer from END OF SEPTEMBER 2022 TO END OF DECEMBER 2022. They will be sent out after each one is done, so we will keep sending out one by one in these 2 months.

80USD more based on different standard editions variations (SS or Alu outer weight, with or without PVD lines, Laser marking), we will also release more info on this 3-4 days before GB officially starts. If your custom option is really special, we will let you know before confirming your designs.

Customization was one of the focal points from the very beginning of this design. We've been thinking about ways to offer the next level of customization, not just customization through changing just the plate, switches, and keycaps. A Promise87 bespoke unit can have 8 different customizable components. We will pick some of the most popular combos and offer them as standard units, without any custom engraving on the back weights.

There will be a limited number of bespoke units, which lets you customize the following components with the listed options:

TKL Cluster Accent Line

No accent line under the TKL cluster

Bar accent line + Moissanite in

Crystal Moissanite is made from naturally occurring silicon carbide through thermal crystal growing process. It has a brilliant shine and clarity and is conflict free.

Improved Gasket Material & Design
Open-source Gasket Slip Design with New Material


Wuque studio will keep stocking the gasket slips and also welcome other board designers to use our slips, we can provide specs you need and make sure that everyone will be able to replace different slips all the time.

New Plate & Switch Foam Design
We created a mold using our new foaming material to make an 2 in 1 dampener kit, it will make the overall dampening system more stable and helps to make typing sound better. We will release typing sound test in the next update.

The design under the TKL cluster is at the heart of the case design. The options are no line or Moissanite, line only, and line and Moissanite. We have already decided on the name for the first option, we need your help to name the other two!

Looks good! Does the PCB support ISO? Solder or hotswap? Would love to be able to see the supported layouts somewhere.
