Title: [Preorder] Doom switches | New Sound Test Video

We’re excited to share with you Keebfront's first switch project in the 'Villainy' collection lineup.
Inspired by a vintage comic book villain – we felt this hobby needed some black hats to stir things up.

Move over switch recolors, this switch brings something unique to the market by introducing a new type of PE material called HDPE.
In addition, the bottom housing is made up of Nylon to create a unique sound.

Don't take our word for it, Maker Mods got a sample to try out and he best described it as:

Lastly, we're the first to work in collaboration with a new manufacturer to go into large scale production

Each switch released in the series will include a one-of-a-kind comicbook art illustration packaging
to further bring out the villainy in the switch (and possibly the villain in you).

DESKMAT

Homefront Invasion Tokyo Deskmat
A compliment accessory to the Villainy series - Doom switch, the packaging design was transferred over to deskmat.
However, instead of the switch, let your keeb be the center piece behind the explosions and rubble buildings.
The goal is that we can receive enough feedback to take into production alongside the Doom switch.

I really like my tecsee hpe switches. I presume hdpe is a similar abbreviation? As for the base I’d be interested to know what switches opt for pa6 vs pa66.

Long poles are in right now so these should do well. It’s unfortunate they can’t be in stock but glws

Well I can say Tecsee's hpe is slightly different (even though similar PE family) and has been allegedly modified to the extend that Tecsee claims it is their proprietary material. On the other hand, specifically HDPE - it is new to the hobby but has been around since 1953 and is widely used for different industries/markets. Lastly, the switch will be in-stock late July across all vendors but we want to go ahead and allow these next few weeks open for pre-orders.

Thank you! The illustration took 25 days to create as it was all hand drawn then transferred digital. :cool:
This is Keebfront's first debut switch, but do expect packaging to be as such in the Villainy switch collection.  :)

This looks like an interesting switch! Do you know what the total travel is for the stem on this switch? I know the stem length was listed in the details but I wasn't sure what that means for the total keypress length.

I really want to purchase but Desk Hero in Canada has extremely high shipping prices; $18 for the cheapest option which is absurd. Will these switches be available anywhere else for Canadians in the future?

Hey, sorry to hear. I’ve gone ahead and told them about it but at this point Desk Hero is the main Canadian vendor. I also suggest you speak with them. They are extremely friendly and I’m sure they will be able to help you out.
