Title: Ready for something duurty?

Probably clicky laser smk switches is my guess.  Feels like cherry blues if my hunch is correct.
** Edit - hmm the more I look at this KB I am starting to think this may not be mechanical.  No way of knowing without seeing a picture with the keycap off.

Funny ergonmic kb here - looks like dome with alps-like eycaps:

Interesting ergo board, for sure. If the keycaps are ALPS-compatible then this keyboard would be more interesting for a switch conversion than any other.I have sent a question to the seller about it.

I think it's a rubber dome though.  Alps caps with sliders over dome. :(

Response from seller of the ergo board:

Nice feel but nothing like my IBM model M. The caps look like ALPS, where
your finger hits is kind of curved. Hope that helps

Might look slightly similar to ALPS but I doubt it's a mechanical switch.  Near as I can tell it's a Truform PCK-302P which is so old can't really find any significant detail about it.

Well, it's got a trackpoint so it can't be that bad.

I'm surprised that wasn't snapped up by the organisers of the Commonwealth Games for the athlete's village Internet PC.

I don't know about this one, but the new Adesso Tru-Form is one of the mushiest (and quietest) keyboards I've ever felt.

I really want an ergonomic keyboard with a Trackpoint, although I'm not really sure how ergonomic that actually is. Maybe one day I'll mod my M15 with dual Trackpoints...
