So today is the first day I've had a chance to really use the Filco since receiving it mid-week. (I'm using it to butcher some MATLAB code, fwiw.) Every five minutes or so the keyboard stops working for a few seconds, and then windows plays the standard "beedoop" sound indicating a USB device has been removed from the system, and then a few seconds later the keyboard magically starts working again.
Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? (Insert beeboop sound here, wait for keyboard to start responding again.) Any ideas what might be causing it?
I've already tried the two things that usually fix problems in Windows:
1) Restart Windows.
2) Unplug they keyboard and plug it back in.
