Title: Mr. Suit Key presses not registering
Post by: hakonfmelby on Mon, 01 August 2022, 07:12:26
Hi! I built a Mr. Suit 6-7 months ago and it has been working fine. But lately the "a" and "g" keys only register 50% (give or take) of the time. This issue occurs on both Mac and windows and seemingly with all USB cables. I've tried resetting it in QMK without luck. Any ideas on what the fault could be and how to fix it?

if you have a hotswap pcb take out the switch, the area that surrounds the switch may have been pushed and you just need tweezers to fix it

I have a soldered PCB, should have mentioned that.

The soldered equivalent would be re-flowing the pins on those switches - melt the joint and add a bit of flux or flux cored solder.

For anyone seeing this post, the problem was that the USB daughterboard connector wasnt seated properly in the PCB. It wasnt all the way in. Seating it properly fixed the issue.

Thanks to the people who replied to my post :)
