Title: Halo! Patiently waiting by my mail box for my first mechanical keyboard!
Post by: delacruxkeys on Thu, 18 August 2022, 00:18:47
I've come across mechanical keyboards a few times throughout the years but it's just now that I'm taking the plunge!
I've just put in an order for a Keychron K6, with the intent of learning the ins and outs of mechanical keyboards and eventually designing my own keycaps.
What kind I'm not sure yet!

Looking forward to learning from everyone ~

Happy to be here!

looking into 40s! love the small form factor and I've just come across an IC of a 40s with Bluetooth compatibility! just perfect!

in the meantime, here are photos I took of my Keychron K6 which came in on Monday!

a few days after though, my dad started showing some interest in it and with Father's Day around the corner here in Australia I thought - hey! why not gift this keeb to dad? so I went ahead and ordered some new keycaps to give it a fresh look. Tai-Hao keycaps!

Nice dude! I am looking at something in the TKL department myself. There are so many choices it's tough to make a decision on what to build... I am on the struggle bus on that one.
