It is a horrible feeling to lose control of your vehicle. You know that you are going to crash but you can do nothing about it.

There is a wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_inventors_killed_by_their_own_inventions) about inventors who died as a result of their own inventions. Really interesting.

Interesting.  Not meaning to take away from this, just FYI I was googling Segway just now and...  Apparently Heselden made most of his money selling barrier systems to the military and bought the Segway company earlier this year perhaps hoping to develop a military market for it as well.  Dean Kamen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean_Kamen) actually invented the Segway (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segway)
