Title: HHKB - Anyone use the default Delete Key?
Post by: Kirby6 on Fri, 07 October 2022, 17:23:11
Does anyone use the default Delete key on your HHKB? If so, why? Is it suitable to have the default delete key in a Unix environment. I would like to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions...

Yeah, both my HHKB are using the default Delete key. I've just never had a need to change it. For the record, my DIP switch settings:

Interesting, is the reason you have never really needed to change it  because you use function on the left as well? Does that make it hitting backspace easier since you just hit function with your left hand and then the delete button with your right?

To hit backspace I just press the Fn key with my pinky, same as the arrows. Don't usually do that, though. I have no problem using delete instead of backspace.
