Tata80 Keyboard Kit Highlights

Two kinds of gasket mount methods

There are both Swan gaskets and Silicon Gaskets, both of which are removable and reusable for your choice.

The Swan gasket is inspired by the car leaf spring structure (https://i.imgur.com/KEQUZDp.jpg). The main reason for using leaf springs as an elastic component on the car is that, apart from linking the axle to the car body, they can act as cushioning force and shock absorption. While there are so many gasket mount designs in the market, the elasticity provided gives more support to the plate and PCB, while allowing it to move always touching the metal sheets. Thus it can be bouncy but with enough support all the time.
Based on this design principle, M·ONE Studio designed a spring gasket that is shaped like the neck of a swan, so it was called the Swan gasket.

Custom F13 PVD badge

Having fun is one of the reasons we design every board. So is for Tata80. When we set a default badge for F13, we also try to work out more badges to make it more unique for you.

Like the bezels and badge. Please add stepped caps and a normal 1.6mm pcb with no cuts.

I'm tired of the flex cut focused boards. It kills sound. A nice design though

Please stop with the F13 without 7u Tsangan bottom row for WK.
7u Tsangan bottom row should be the standard for any custom mechanical keyboard.

God forbid! Why would that cringe layout should by default on anything? Any practical reasons? Do we need a 0.75 unit longer spacebar? Do we need non-uniformly sized modifier keys in the bottom row?
What could be offered instead as a standard feature is ISO support

why no solder?
why no iso?
why no 1.5u 1u 1.5u 7u 1.5u 1u 1.5u bottom?
why is 7u only supported when I get WKL?

for a 400€ TKL I expect more lazout support.

ps.
I know its trying to stay within 300$ but I also know that those 300$ wont include shipping and EU taxes.

do you even realize wk can be built with a 7u right?

really fed up with flex centered boards though. skipping with 0 regrets.

Board seems a bit uninspired, like the mount was thought of first. and then a board was built around it. or rather you just slapped it in a large Ginkgo

I do like the designs of the little F13 plate art, but wish that same thought was put into the giant flat face on the back

it's a giant canvas for artists, that's not seeing its true potential...

I'd rather have an F13 key and a badge, engraving, design, or just... anything above the arrow keys. You know, the huge empty space you could totally use for a ton of different things? :)

Also, please add ISO. We never get hot-swap capable ISO PCBs with any of these, and it'd be nice and definitely make this more appealing in Europe.

If you think about it then it makes sense, but it should be clearly stated in the layout choices image???

If Wuque wants people to be interested in purchasing their product, then please present clear information.
It is just basic principle.

looks like a great follow up to the gingko65, the top case follows a similar design layout. Good luck with the group buy.
