Title: Steelseries Apex 7 TKL strange "stickiness"
Post by: FakeJoe on Mon, 17 October 2022, 03:42:58
Hi everyone!

Suddenly got a following problem with my keyboard:

Keys "P" ";" and "." suddenly started to produce around 10-12 character inputs on single press.

All other keys work just fine, only these 3 keys make this problem.

Characters they produce are almost identical, sometimes, it is just a single different character in the beginning. For example:

VBXZ<>?|CMN

I wonder if it is a problem with a switch or still can be a very weird software issue?

What I tried:

* Checked all macros in SS app, uninstalled SS app

* Tried keyboard on another PC

* Factory reset from the keyboard menu.

* Tried "hard" factory reset via holding 2 special keys, however then it only flashes red until I reconnect it to PC.

Please help!
I am in desperate, hope I do not need to go further in disassembling it (actually, next step might be related with soldering, I can't remove the switches)
