Hell yeah dude! I remember beating the game and you get to see the rocket take off and explode into fireworks like The Challenger.
Such a great iteration of Tetris.
do you save space for the straight line for score, or place as they come to clear quick?

It depends, making tetris is the fastest way to increase score. but you can't always do it because you might have a well 3 piece deep somewhere, where if you don't fill that, it limits your stacking options for other pieces.
The other problem is, at the high gravity, there might be a lip next to your well, which would block the line, so you have to build up to flat first or use it somewhere else.
Then there's endurance management, at around 5 million points, it's already 1.5-2 hours in, you have to pace yourself and build in such a way that is not ideal, because you're too tired. This is different than tetris on supernintendo, or super gameboy, where you have a big screen, and you can see from far away and a big controller, on gameboy you're hunched over, your back hurts, you're squinting, and eyes very close to the screen.
