TYPE-30 is the new ultra compact ortholinear keyboard by Treasure.
Perfect to be used as a big macropad, a compact mechanical dedicated keyboard, an artisan display, that you can use horizontaly or vertically.
Design-wise, Treasure TYPE-30 keep the same design language as our TYPE-9 macropad, with a classic and statutory feel.

The goal was to make a keyboard/macropad that can be used on the go
So a lot of thought went into making the keyboard layouts ( For Solder & hotswap ) to have the best possible experience.

Yes, But where is the spacebar?
1 : There is an "invisible spacebar" by the use of the QMK Combo feature.
You hit "space" with your thumb by hitting both 'B' and 'V' keys at the same time ( So the location of where the space bar would be )
One of the advantage of combos is that it allows to keep the same alpha layout as a standard keyboard and does not change your muscle memory.
You can also have a clicky keyswitch on either 'B' or 'V' to have a sound and/or sensory feedback each time you hit the "invisible spacebar"
2 : 2U space bar on bottom row is also possible with the solderable layout.
The challenge here is that the bottom row is splitted in half ( ZXC / VBNM )

Beautiful. I've been looking for a large macropad option and this would be great. Would love to be able to angle somehow as a macropad will be further away from me, but I know that's the Treasure design language and this is also meant to be an ortho.

Yes I tried with an angle but then you have less flexibility as a macropad.
So perhaps we will release a small accessory for the angle later if there is demand for that.
