“Gulf Oil” Livery
Two tone seamed case, anodized 6063
Color matched to Pantones 165c and 290c

9.17 typing angle
Blasted Stainless steel  internal and external weights
 1.9kg/4lbs unbuilt

"ffh": 19.123 mm
afh w/o feet: 21.11 mm
ekh: 25.073 mm

Top mount plate options
Silver 5052 aluminum full plate (default)
Alu half plate (optional extra)
Stainless steel full plate (optional extra)

PCB
It is Green and beautiful.
VIAL firmware, RP2040 and Solder only
Support Tsangan + Moogle, Split BS, Split RS, Step CpsLk, ISO.
There is no daughter board because I don’t like them.

Pricing
Expected pricing is $590 at 20 units with PCB.
PCB extras ~$30 each. Plate extras ~$35 each.
I am not going to run more than 20 units.

I think the bottom weight would look better if the wheel had five spokes like the ones on the car in the video but otherwise it all looks fantastic. The side and rear profiles are both really nice and reminiscent of the car and I like all the little engravings that show great attention to detail and the original inspiration. Too bad there will only be 20 because I really like it! And I have Skydata!

He does say that the board has a 9.17 degree typing angle, so...

I really like this, but I think you could take it to the next level by having the finished painted (or coated) in gloss since that would more closely match the actual Gulf livery.  Pet pet regardless.

Yes it is. It has the advantage of adding material above the port entrance while also looking Super cool! : )

Yes, Gulf version won't be offered in gloss finish.

This automotive paint will cost more. There is a place near my home which can do it. Thanks Herf

There will be no hotswap option offered. If you cannot solder, your options are:
1. Mill max it
1. pay someone to Mill max
2. pay someone to build it

Just not 100% sure about the bottom... IMO would be nice to have the 917 silhouette laser engraved instead.

There will be a Martini Racing Team version.
As for the pig: I want to go all out if I do this, so I will place all the original German on it in red with the dotted stitching connecting.
I'll do it if there is enough interest. There will be more small runs of Gulf 917 in the future, but I will make very few units of this possible edition (it wouldn't be fun if everyone had it)

This keyboard emulates the object itself through design, so I will not place the silhouette on the back
 I've experimented with adding more, and it doesn't look as good.

it's perpendicular to the typing angle, if that's what you're asking
