It just doesn't let up. sigh.....

Now they're running out of beds again at children hospitals due to RSV outbreak.

holy crap, this guy tp4 knows, friend of a friend, his kid died.

first they say, no one gon' die, then people die.

cdc says to wear masks now.

Both my brother and my young nephew ended up in the hospital recently due to RSV, both had to get oxygen. It's been going around badly of late, it seems Oo .

Flu shot is one I get every year no matter what - have since I was a child (also get it to avoid constant questions from Mom unit).

Me too. I used to get them occasionally but after getting the flu (ie actual influenza) twice in the 1990s-early-2000s I decided that that was an experience that I just didn't need to have again. Ever

Plus, nowadays, they are almost always free or at least very cheap if you have insurance.

Sooooo... the latest on COVID, is that 90% of current climbing deaths are among 65 year olds.

This is because the old vax protection has gone down due to TIME, and the fact that we have NEW variants, which needs the "BIVALENT" b00ster.

so any older gekhrs who got the original, it's a good idea to get updated.

wait wat? they finally upped their game and made an UPDATED vax? I thought it was the same vax over and over again? That's why I didn't get the repeaters -- more of the same stuff but now for the newer variants

I think I was supposed to get it as well - just never got the call.
