Intro
Heyhey, Smoll here, small keyboard enjoyer from the Netherlands. let’s keep it short and sweet!
I’d like to present to you, the Smollpad, a 5-key macropad tray.
As an ode to blockers, I’m planning to run 3 different versions; The Smollpad Alice, HHKB, and Winkeyless.
The pad will feature a hotswap PCB, brass/copper weight, magnets and a Cerakote finish.

Bottom view with magnets, will be cerakoted together with the pad in the future. Brass coating slightly darker, considering priming it gray for a better match. Also will inset the feet a bit deeper.

Weight screws in from the bottom side and provides entrance for the plate and PCB, feet cover the screws. The feet will be vacuumcast silicone, ordered some black and grey prototypes, will colormatch them to the colors for the GB units.

Heyhey, my name is Matthijs, and I’m a Biopharmacy student from Rotterdam, the Netherlands! You might also know me as Smoll(chungus). I’ve been doing PCB design, along with 3D CAD and some rendering for almost 2 years now!
Done a few commissioned boards and very small private runs (gallery on my website for reference (https://www.smollkeebs.com/gallery)), however I’m hoping to run this macropad as my first proper Groupbuy!
