Sorry about that, the chocolate was metaphorical.

Caution, I think the Unicomp M5-2 might be rubber dome.

The seller says its a 96U114.  I cannot find reference to any part 96U114.  There is a 96U1114, and that is a rubber dome board, clickkeyboards lists it as rubber domes.

Thanks for the warning.  Insight (https://www.insight.com/search/ppp.web?materialId=96U1114) lists the 96U1114 as buckling spring (on the Tech Specs tab), but I'd probably trust clickkeyboards unless proven otherwise.

FYI, I bought one just like this from this seller and just got it in.  It's yellowed on the right side no doubt from prolonged sun exposure from that angle, so probably a candidate for retr0bright  (http://retr0bright.wikispaces.com/) at some point but works fine.  I read some old posts from iMav gushing about these as "best external pointing device" so had to try it but didn't want to spend as much as these were going for.  These BIN ones seemed like a good way to do that.  I can live with the yellowing for now and hopefully can fix it at some point.  And I do like it, although it's a bit different from what I'm used to.  Giving it some time to see if I can adjust to it being really comfortable which I am optimistic about right now.

I'd like a box of chocolates arranged like the keys on a keyboard, with a red gumdrop for escape.

Here you go, have to supply your own gumdrop though.

I could edit one in later but don't have time right now,.

Seller says it's rubber dome.

I thought my question would appear on the ad; but apparently I didn't manage to ask it publicly.
