Inspiration:
As a long-time fan of tabletop games, Magic: The Gathering has always been one of my
favorites. With this set I am celebrating the classic look of Magic: The Gathering. These caps
use the same uncial typeface that was used on early MTG packs. The colors are inspired by the
back of Magic cards. This set has been designed to ensure that if multi-planar space wizards
had mechanical keyboards, these are the caps they would use.

I'm not a fan of light colour sets but I would be all over this one if it had an international kit supporting ISO-PT, as it is the only interesting thing are the mana and set symbols (if you add mirrodin) caps.
Good luck

Reminds me of art nouveau a lot, but regardless it's a nice colorway with a nice font. Novelties are simple, clean, and fit the theme. Good stuff.

My initial thought when looking at the set is that the mod legends look a little small/close together. I think they would be improved by being slightly larger and slightly more spaced apart for clarity. There's also a small cutting-off effect at the bottom of the alpha legends that I'm not sure whether it's a part of the font or some type of accidental error. Regardless, the set is nice and with Magic behind it I'm sure it will succeed. GLWIC :thumb:

Where does the alpha typeface come from?

Did you consider using something more similar to the text on the original MTG cards?

And where did the cream color for the alpha base come from? Was that matched to the rules/description panel of a particular card?

Also, not sure if it will fit, but "exile" wasn't a term in old school MTG. I think they used "remove from the game." A better term for Delete, if it will fit, might be "Banish."

Other terms that came later: mill, equip, vigilance.

A good option for the caps/control home row key might be "Interrupt."

The typeface Uncial used on Alpha, Beta, Revised, Arabian Nights, Legends, and Fallen empires packaging, and is one of the two recommended fonts for Retro Core by WOTC. I have always preferred the Uncial font because of its history. I also tried the Belwe font that is used elsewhere on the card and was not happy with how it looked.

The cream came from the description box on early cards.

I think I tried banish and couldn't make it fit... its one of those compromises I had to make.

As far as the other terms go, we always called it Mill because of the Mill stone, Vigilance is short hand for an effect that already existed. I think its fun having Vigilance/capslock be the counterpart to untap/shift.
Equip is the one I would pull if I pull anything.

I really do appreciate the feedback :)
