It's definitely buckling springs, you can see the barrels and guide inserts.

Well... maybe people shouldn't throw away those nice keyboards and donate them to geekhack members?

I'd certainly take one of those things for free if its fate was to be in some place in ghana...

I did/do have doubts about the pic though...as much as I think I see key barrels, the key tops look too flat. Difficult to tell.

The key shape and spacing look right. As for the keys being flat, the picture is low resolution but you can see like curve shaped dirt markings on the corners of some of the keys like what should the the 4 and 7 keys on the numeric keypad.  I wonder if there are at least some two piece keys as some keys clearly have markings but others seem not to.
