sorry if that was not the best subject line but I was just curious what anyone else might think of this as well? I'm just curious about the 3-grays idea or to simplify it to only two instead
(as a footnote: its not the 100% exact colour I would had ordered, I just was playing with the hex values till I found something that seem decent. might tweak it some more later especially against a pbt colour guide soon enough hopefully)

Is the image a render?
I find the use of dark grey is interesting, in that it creates a shape.
Why is the right Alt key not middle grey? Symmetry? Mapped to something else than Alt?
