Title: 【IC】NuPhy GhostBar for your custom keyboards
Post by: harryke on Tue, 28 February 2023, 05:33:17
As we all know, the hollow sound of the spacebar is the most annoying. To make your spacebar quieter, you may ever try to fix it with inappropriate foam with little success. Never mind, GhostBar should be a godsend replacement. You could totally believe how perfectly it will work on your keyboards. :thumb:

The original design intention of KOP profile GhostBar was to reduce the hollow sound of Halo65 spacebar, what unexpected is that many users are greatly satisfied with what it sounds on their other keyboards. Based on this, we will also launch a more popular profile of GhostBar, Cherry profile, which is expected to be available on March 9th.

If you are nit-picky about the spacebar sound, NuPhy GhostBar should be on top of your list.

Length: 6.25u
Material: PBT
Colors: Nine options
Profiles: Cherry & KOP (similar to OEM)
Noise reduction solution: 1u built-in silicone cavity

I like this, but I feel like the colors will be so limited that it'll be hard to find matches for most keysets.

I have a Nuphy board and I actually really like it... but. Practically every custom keycap set I have is GMK profile and Nuphy's keycaps are nowhere near close to being a profile match.

I'd actually just like Nuphy to offer more sets of their own for the keyboards they sell. My impression here is that mixing and matching just isn't going to work well.
