This set was already going to be in stock from JTK, as indicated in replies prior to yours. This is a group buy because it will likely be cheaper to buy here than buying it from JTK direct or some overseas vendor.

Honestly this whole thing felt kinda shifty? Why no warning before the sale started? It was "in stock" but represented as a group buy. I asked a question in the Discord server but was ignored. I was going to purchase at the weekend but all of these points put me off.

The US Vendor was IconLabs, but it's already passed. I don't know why people are surprised about the Taobao listing. These keycaps are already produced and sold in the Chinese market. We are essentially paying for a vendor to proxy them, right? If you can get a proxy to buy them for you from Taobao and ship them for cheaper, you should do that. Otherwise, it's more convenient to buy from a vendor. Also, possibly easier to deal with issues if something is wrong with your keycap set. This is similar to what they did with the Tiawen set.

Sorry, I don't mean to be dense, but do you mean it was included in the base kit not pictured above or it was included in the GB as a child kit that could be purchased separately? (the extra spacebars like 2u, 2.75, etc)
