Title: Keychron k2 top row not working.
Post by: Natisse on Tue, 14 March 2023, 13:47:54
Hi guys, I recently bought a keychron k2. So the error is from "ESC" to "delete", the keys are pressed at once, then it starts pressing again randomly, the diode was faulty, I installed a different diode, but I don't know if it's compatible. Can you help me?[attachimg=3][attachimg=2][attachimg=1]

Hello. Welcome to Geekhack. Why is that one switch completely desoldered? One or both of the traces for it running from the vias look to be torn out. Why are there wires soldered to each end of that diode? You should be able to use 1N4148 diodes with just about any keyboard.

That plate is pretty screwed up. I would guess something is shorting between the PCB and the gnarly plate in that corner to cause the problem with that whole row.

Hi there. I am sorry about this, but I am new to Geekhack. May I ask how can I embed images in my post? Thank you.
