For that price point, this should sell like hot cakes.
A few suggestions:
The cursive writing at the back does NOT look nice, consider replacing with your MK logo instead.
Green & Yellow appear to be missing, these are quite a popular colour options
If you want to increase interest (And demand), opt for non standard colours. Examples: blueish green (Refer to Tind's Ultramarine), anodized bronze, anodized copper, dark charcoal, etc.
-
This kind of reminds me a lot of the Jris but with more mounting styles. Estimated typing angle? Protos?
-
provide a teal variant and I'll buy 2
teal and orange
-

According the pictures above, it is 7 degree
-
Please get rid of the writing on the back weight. You got it right on Jris75, blank weight is just fine.

Price is crazy. Having all the options like plateless, gasket, top, and half-plate is pretty impressive. Change the engraving at the back and this is would be better. Interested to see how it sounds but even so still really good board from what I see.

Filled out the IC
Also included teal or dark teal as a color.
Would highly recommend a fair or forest green too.

i too prefer this to the JRIS stuff. & agree on removing the text on weight, has never looked good imo.
at that price though, i'll def be keeping an eye out for build streams!

Hi everyone, we have made the following updates to MKC75, please see below:
1.Caps Lock Indicator Light
2.Due to feedback received through the IC form indicating a preference for green, we've added Green and Green & Black as available case colors.
3.We have added 7u split spacebar layout to the Hotswap PCB and Solder PCB, as well as the Plates.
4.As the voting results showed that majority of participants preferred Alu and FR4 as the two materials for the Half-plates, therefore we have chosen Alu Half-plate and Fr4 Half-plate.

What material is the PVD weight?

Assuming you maintain that price point this seems interesting, +1 on the text removal, even on the frog it doesn't look very good.

I see its the same colors being used for the jris80, other than brown I dont remember seeing that, but that being said I wish the greens for either wasn't so bright and more of a dark pine green or so, I know generally colors aren't altered or changed often

These two colors of green won't be too bright, they both belong to the dark green spectrum. You can follow up by checking out the content creator's videos and our prototype for further reference.

I am very interested in the milky white case color, how does it compare to the Noctua beige color?

I am very interested in the milky white case color, how does it compare to the Noctua beige color?
Currently, I don't have any specific products in the Noctua beige color. However, based on the images I found, in terms of a direct comparison between the two colors, Milky white of MKC75 is a brighter and more pristine white, while Noctua beige is a warmer and earthy beige color. (Please note that this conclusion is based solely on the images I found of the Noctua beige color, so it can be considered as a reference.)
Additionally, you can also check out videos of prototypes in Milky White color created by content creators later on. We will also provide updates with prototype images of the MKC75 as soon as possible, so you can compare their differences then.
-
Looking back at this project, I just realized there were side mounting points. Is there any reason for this and I think they should be removed from the final product if you can.
-
Looking back at this project, I just realized there were side mounting points. Is there any reason for this and I think they should be removed from the final product if you can.
The side mounting points in the MKC75 are primarily designed for people who prioritize stability over achieving a softer typing feel. These mounting points help evenly distribute typing forces across the keyboard, resulting in a more stable and consistent typing experience. It's worth noting that whether you use a Top Mount or PCB Gasket Mount, you have the option to choose whether or not to install the side screws or gaskets based on your personal preference for typing feel and sound.

Everything about this keyboard is fabulous! Everything expect for that absolutely hideous logo on the back plate. Who's idea was that?? yuck!
its almost as bad as the "JRIS" logo on the back of their keyboards.

Any updates
-
In my opinion the most functional and good-looking layout. I also love the fact that it's 7 degrees angle cause most of the boards are flat af.
-
The GB will be around july as mentioned by themselves on Reddit, can't wait to have my first budget gb keyboard :D
Hope it comes in a carrying case aswell like their Jris series :thumb:
-
Specifically is there any update on final pricing that you can share? You proudly touted $99 as the price tag for this. Does that still seem possible?
-
That logo on the back is butt ugly.

Any updates
The prototypes have been sent to content creators one after another, and we will update in July.

I filled out the IC check form, but also want to leave a comment here. The cursive on the weight should be your MK logo, that would look so clean. And that green that is in the renders is PERFECT! Please do not do a lighter or darker green. That green in the renders is so unique and we don't have enough of that color green board out there.
Thank you for this project and I cant wait to buy a couple of them.

We have some important updates to share with you which have been of great concern: MKC75 pricing, specifications, and package included. Please check it out right away!
-
It's sad that the weight still uses the cursive writing but I guess it's okay since I won't be seeing the back as much.
But MAN do you guys really have to sell the RGB PCB as add-on only? :'(

cursdive text :(

cursdive text :(
Right the cursive text makes no sense. Either blank or the MKC logo. The cursive just ruins the look of the board. Looks like a mess of spaghetti spilled on the bottom of the board. I am really hopping the creators change it before group buy or at least offer a blank / logo version that way everyone is happy.
-
cursdive text :(
Our team is still discussing this, please stay tuned for further updates.

Hi guys! We have some exciting updates for you today, including a Weight Design Vote, as well as updates related to Weight Color and the Tri-mode Hotswap PCB. Please check it out!
-
I think it was better when you had separate HS PCBs for ISO and ANSI - combining them both on one PCB turns into a mess of 90-degree rotated HS sockets that can have switch and keycap incompatibility issues. Boards like QK75 and others correctly offer separates for the different layouts to avoid this. It was fine how you had it before with separate boards. Multi-layout around that portion can lead to some people not quite getting a great experience.

Hello everyone, this update mainly includes the following contents: Full pricing, Vendor list, Review Links , and Pre-order Information Updates, please check it.
-
I can forgive it for the price, but disappointed you chose to abandon separate ISO and ANSI PCBs that did not necessitate 90-degree rotated HS sockets in favour of per-key RGB, which I truly don't think most enthusiasts are interested in. As explained before this will mean both ISO and ANSI HS users will have to deal with possible issues around the Enter key, because keycap sets with very tight tolerances do not always play nice with Cherry MX switches when rotated sideways.
MX stems are not identical on the east and west as they are on the north and south, and as a result builders will occasionally encounter fitment issues and switches wobble more when installed sideways too.
In the future, please consider maybe retiring the RGB PCB and having separate layout HS PCBs. Other brands you compete with like QK consistently get this right (and their budget-oriented competitor Neo seems to also get this right, just to let you know).
