Title: When does the honeymoon end?
Post by: Lanx on Fri, 08 October 2010, 02:40:13
So already just a few days w/ my modded ergo4k (first mech board i really liked/ abs1/cherry4100, not so much) and i'm gleefully typing along and doing work and stuff cuz it's my daily rider too.
So when does the honeymoon end? and instead of feeling a bit of glee typing i'll be back to ho-hum?

Give it about a week.  You'll still like it, but it won't be quite as special anymore.  Since you have one you built yourself, it might be a little different, but for me, a week pretty much wears off the newness factor.

I have had my filco browns for over a month and i still find myself typing as an excuse to use the keyboard.  It's good for productivity, though :)

The honey moon ends when you stop enjoying typing. :)

I still feel pretty darn awesome when I'm typing on my Filco, but that could be because I attached sparklers to my keyboard that strike when I hit the Windows key.
