Hello, I was scrolling through youtube and I just noticed on the Jane V2 CE the internal backweight has a bunch of holes in it.
I want to know why that is done, I would imagine to make it sound better but I'm not too well versed in it and if it does sound better, why don't other people implement the weight into the boards as well? (I assume Cost but again I'm not sure)

I know it’s been a long time since you posted this but I heard it from a LightningXI build stream that the main intention of it wasn’t really for sound but just because Yuktsi is a big fan of cycling and decided to implement that as part of the weight design. Whether it has a noticeable effect on sound is debatable since we’d need another weight to test it with
