Title: Has Maltron dropped it's executive keyboard?
Post by: hoggy on Sat, 09 October 2010, 12:50:50
Maltron's least adventurous keyboard might be no more.  Haven't found a press release, but there's no mention of it anymore on their site.

It looked like this -

It was rather expensive...Around £600

At that price you might as well get a kinesis advantage.

Funny you should say that...

Perhaps I'm being harsh.  I called this Maltron's least adventurous keyboard - but it was head and shoulders above the vast majority of the 'ergonomic' keyboards currently on the market.

I'll take a little of that back, just look at those cursor keys...

Probably cause it didn't sell very well. It's a flat, more expensive version of the Maltron ergonomic.

Hi all, it's true, we have dropped the Executive Keyboard. We still produce the four basic models over here at Maltron HQ in the UK;

* Single Handed
* Dual Handed
* Head / Mouth Stick
* Expanded

Our primary aim through offering Maltron keyboars (all hand produced to meet the end users specific needs) is to offer support for those with repetitive strain injury (RSI), work related upper limb disorder, cerebral palsy, limited hand use, upper limb amputations, strokes, paralysis and visual impairment.

Details on our site, http://www.maltron.com

Cheers,

Adam, Marketing chap at Maltron
