Hello everyone! I would like to introduce KeyKobo-Retro Red Light.

This is one of my favorite sets from the “Retro” series, which took a year to design and opitmization.
Same as KeyKobo-Retro Mixed Lights (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=119802.0), this set will be manufactured by KeyKobo, and I hope it will still be available in-stock.

● Inspiration

The inspiration comes from Data General 6246 (https://deskthority.net/wiki/Data_General_6246).
Data General 6246 is a clicky Fujitsu Leaf Spring keyboard for the Data General 6242 terminal. The keyboards of D200, D210 series, produced by data general around 1982.

● Kitting

General Data (base)
● Same as Retro Mixed Lights, the W/A/S/D keys in General Data(base kit) are tripleshot.
● The CapsLock/Stepped capslock/ANSI Enter/Esc keys are using customized molds.

● The front legends are pad print.
● To better match the concept, we changed the top of red relegendable from clear translucent to gray after the discussion with the manu. And I wish the final prototype would be satisfying.

Oh I've been thinking someone should make a set based off that Data General color scheme for a little while now, looks really good!

Please consider having a option for a brown/beige numpad and not forcing accents on enter and esc.

This looks great! Always here for more retro sets. Thank you for actually creating a novelties kit that is still functional. Front legends are great, the ability to kit out potentially two full boards is also great! Even basic 40s support!

The main criticism I have is the accent keys in the base kit. I would prefer if the dark grey mod accents were not forced for Esc/Enter/arrows/40s keys. Otherwise, I can't wait for this one!

That's why I asked here. I'm hoping the Red Light kit isn't UV printed.
