I noticed the G80-5000 has 2 models.

function key one is older than 1995, windows key ones are newer.

More than 2 models... don't forget some have alt symbol layouts and vertical/portrait enter keys.

Yeah, they all have full NKRO and double shot caps. They are a pretty nice keyboard. I wish you could take off the wrist rest, then it would be my daily driver for sure.

It seems that was the case with the old models. A few newer models seem to come with G84-3700 (no mode 4) instead.

My friend told me that the G80-5000 can only work with G80-5700, not 3700
haven't test it yet(my 5700 still in German)
Will any1 tell me that?

BTW, the earlier G80 -5000 version (without win key) has a very rare dye model

Ah, interesting. At least those wouldn't yellow, and durability probably is much the same.

Otherwise there isn't too much in terms of interesting boards on the bay right now, guess it's not a good time of year for that.

POM has high resistances to chemicals and abrasions. it's stronger than ABS and PBT.
