Title: [IC] The Spartan Keycap sets + Spartan M98 keyboard kit | 7/6/2023 Updated

UPDATES: 07/06/2023

There are some tester keycaps. We have completed some color adjustments and injected gold glitters into the keycap. We hope this keycap will appear more sophisticated, appearing dark gery from a distance but revealing sparkling gold glitter upon close inspection.

Here are the detailed specifications of the keycaps:
Keycap set Name: SPARTAN
Keycap set Designer: DPS Creation
Keycap counts: BASE 104, Mod 58, Novelties 46, Total of 206 keycaps.
Profile: WDA
Material: ABS with gold glitter injection molding process
New production process with UV coating, providing better tactile feel and durability。


UPDATE:
1. Removed Spacebar side engraving.
2. Add one more "TAB" keycap without side engraving.
3. We have specially designed a pair of unique keycaps "Lion" for all Group Buy participants this time.
4. We are working on Spartan Coil cable and Deskmat, we will update these later.
5. The Good New is our products are about to enter the production phase, and we anticipate that they will be available to everyone in September, 2023

Keycap production:

For this set of keycaps, we have employed the latest manufacturing technologies, using WDA profile. You may not be very familiar with WDA keycaps, but rest assured that they meet the highest standards in terms of feel, craftsmanship, and details. Most importantly, the new manufacturing process aligns perfectly with my design intentions, and the addition of gold accents brings vibrancy and liveliness to the artwork. (Please refer to the following text for more details on WDA profile and the manufacturing process.)

During the keycap production, I aimed to create ABS keycaps with a stunning gold flake injection molding technique. Despite the increased cost, I believe every effort is worthwhile to enhance the quality and aesthetics of the artwork. I am confident that you will be amazed by the keycaps I have designed.

As a total war enjoyer, some comments:

1. neither the xiphos nor the kopis has such a broad blade; greek blades are more simply curved and generally do not look like that, and do not have such a complex hilt.

2. while Athena may be one of the patrons of Sparta, her image (and especially owl symbol) is likely more closely associated with Athens. I am also not sure whether greek shield art usually comes in that style.

3. I generally think it is inadvisable to conflate the movie Sparta with actual Sparta - while the latter is depicted historically, the former may not be.

4. Probably better to have Greek than English on novelties, if any at all.
