Hello!

We are excited to announce HolySwitch's return, after our long hiatus since the Southpaw75, which we were a proud partner of.

We are excited to announce our new project: The Lightweight65, or LTW65 for short, is an FR4 stackmount keyboard, or acrylic case depending on your spec, that is meant to fit your needs for a premium hotswap keyboard.

Layout

The Lightweight65 boasts a standard 65% layout, with a 0.5u blocker, arrow keys, and 4 extra programmable keys on the righthand side of the keyboard.

The PCBs will be hotswap, with an option to have a solder PCB depending on requests within the IC form.

The PCBs will be pre-flashed with VIA, so your keyboard is up and running from the get-go.

The PCBs connect to your computer using USB-C.

Design Language
The primary focus of the Lightweight65 is to provide a simple, clean, and usable keyboard for all. Due to it's simplistic mounting system whether FR4 or acrylic and hot-swappable PCB, it is the perfect keyboard for those who are new to the hobby as it is extremely easy to build. Or if you're already familiar with the custom-keyboard hobby, it may serve as a welcome addition to any collection.

The Sale

The Lightweight65 will be for sale around mid July.

It will be sold exclusively on our website, which will be announced on our discord (https://discord.gg/9KWnJMz) later this week.

We will be offering free shipping within the continental US.

It will be a combined in-stock sale, as well as with a GB which will be fulfilled within Q3-Q4 2023. In-stock orders are limited and first come, first serve.

There will be a giveaway running live on our discord (https://discord.gg/9KWnJMz) in the week prior to the sale.

The price will be around the $150 range, depending on your spec.

We look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts, and we are excited to bring back our contributions to the keyboard community.

I'm glad to hear that the PCBs will be pre-flashed with VIA, which should make it easy for users to get their keyboards up and running quickly. Are there any other features or customizations that users can make with the PCBs?

For now, the primary PCB customization will be rooted in the VIA software which includes macros, media keys, and other unique keybinds.

If you have any other ideas, or suggestions for PCB customizability, please feel free to let us know here or in the IC form.

Rough estimates, once fully built is:
FR4 1-2ish lbs
Acrylic 3-4ish lbs

We'll be posting exact weight specifications, (unbuilt), on the official product page.
