That thing just looks crazy.
I like the concept of a detachable numpad because it can give me more "mousing space" just like my Filco tenkeyless.
Unfortunately the design of Dearmo GA9 makes it unnecessarily big, so even with an unatched numpad it is't as compact as it should be.
That extra pad is imho a pretty good idea.
Overall I find it much more appealing than a BlackWidow.

Looks like what Optimus Prime would type on.

凹凸(this guy is always fast when it comes to new keyboards) from KBC did a review here.

Can someone explain WHAT KBC and Ducky are?
Are they both real companies? And by real are they two guys and a dog or are they well funded? Are they hobbyist keyboards put together by volunteers? Dearmo looks real in the sense real money had to be put into it to do all the casing molds.
It's probably obvious to you guys but the translations I get from Google are so bad I don't bother anymore - just look at the pics.
I assume:
KBC is a early entrepreneur who started a company due to the love of customization and also started the KBC forums.
Ducky is a late entrepreneur who started a company to build a keyboard based on what the community @ KBC forums like.
-
From what I understand, KBC is something like a community/ probably a company formed by hobbyist from China while Ducky is a Taiwanese company that manages the production of keyboards+ other stuffs. Members from KBC design keyboards and Ducky produces+ sell them, that is why we can't find KBC keyboards (yet) and those keyboards are branded as Duckies. (might need some clarification from people who actually knows how things work for them)

imo, kbc is a small group of hobbyist in china mainland who cooperate with ducky from tw. i do not think they have the company. kbc gives advice on ducky keyboard design, pre-test ducky, and is the official dealer of ducky in china mainland. btw, kbc key caps fit filco, das and surely ducky perfectly, but a litte different from cherry's.

before ducky products go into the market, kbc always send some keyboards to whom wanna take a try and give the feedback to ducky for free. kbc even has no official store in china. you could just purchase the products online or get them from resellers.

The problem is KBC cant control or even make a sufficient suggestion to Ducky
the ducky 1087(80%) comes out with qc problems
no mention 1087 is already 3 months delayed in schedule for the market
now the plu80% will be promoted later this month at a crazy price(RMB 350, which is usd 50!)

Wow, the thing's a Transformer. It looks like it complements the R.A.T. better than Saitek's own Cyborg boards would.

Lots of features, most of which I would never use (it is a gaming keyboard), but the detachable numpad is nice. The indent in the wrist rest looks like it would be problematic for me, though.

pricing would be interesting :)
-
The price of GA9 is RMB 788, or USD 130
-
thanks. thats similar to razer BlackWidow Ultimate and offering more features and less brand name.
