OMG, controls are soooo sm0000sss.
It's unlike any other A( game ever. GPU requirements very reasonable.

Apart from Raytracing, Most taxing setting is the Volumetric fog and shadow.
Shadow controls shadow resolution and probably draw distance. The fog you can pretty safely lower, it looks basically the same, it's fog.
Getting pretty solid performance on the ol' 1060.
The important thing is the game plays well. The laser sword feels impactful. and requires skill to time. Dodging missiles is pretty cool. Though in 60fps, this kind of makes the whole screen a big blur if you dodge-booster.
Hardest thing seems to be stopping. The A( doesn't stop on a dime. It says you press S to disengage boost, buhh it sometimes just keeps going.
Really wish the laser sword had a downward slash of sorts, it only moves horizontally, so if you're not lined up it misses, with a big cool down. Lining up usually means you'll take a missile if there's more than 1 target. I'm sure there's better engagement movement you can eventually figure out, but as it is, not easy.

Boss fights are extremely rewarding and balanced, they're kinda really hard unless you cheese it a bit.
It's souls-like for sure, the dodging, boosting, laser sword.
-
Getting the hang of it.
It's only crashed once. Pretty solid code.
-
Destroy the Tester AC, that's the money making mission in chapter 1, super easy, super fast. 95k.
-
Parts choices are well thought out, even though some of the parts are a bit too specific.
Close combat with other ac is an issue since they'd activate sword at about the same time you do, hard to get out of the way since it animates so fast and lunges forward.
Game looks good even without max settings. Seems to be fxaa, kinda blurry.

These launchers look cool, but IDK how I feel about missiles in general, they seem to miss a good half especially if their strike angle is steep.
Just unlocked plasma missiles, they seem alot better, because they have a larger AOE, they seem to do more damage, missing "less" on average.

It's only been out a few days, how can there be a speed run already..

Haven't played armored core in a couple hours now. Feel fine.
It's crazy how a game like vampire survivor is more addictive than AAA titles.
-
Hope they don't screw this up with microtransactions later, expansions after expansion.
Given their previous elden ring, it shouldn't be the case, but we'll see.
-
This is easily the best mecha game ever made.
-
Keep getting pwned by the chapter 1 big boss. Played it 15 times already.

Just beat the boss, Tp4's whole body hurts. The physical strain is real.
Problem was just not watching his cycle properly, getting too close.
-
Stuck on another boss.
This is going to give me nightmares... The frustration.

This is the worst build ever for bosses, but it's convenient to get through most lvls. Good thing they let you change assembly when you die at the boss a few times.

Staggering the enemy is key to minimizing boss lasers.
-
Ate a bunch of bagels, must've lowered my EN supply / Attitude stability, getting hit like crazy.
Should've stopped at 2.
-
This is the greatest game I've ever played.

Ugh.. Getting a headache. Can the game's neural load be 2 high?
-
Firefox running stuff in the background can crash Armored Core.
-
Just completed 1st run.
Phew, wow, it's 100% An-Experience.
Something I noticed, there are no human characters shown at all in the game. This seems to be a tactic at combating japan's serious problem with 5exu1izing all characters.
Can 100% recommend this game. There are supposedly 3 Endings. And you have to play it 3 times.
Starting new game +, second time seems way easier, since well, you keep all your stuff, and you know how to freaking turn around unlike the first run.
And of course the biggest problem faced early game is using all the wrong parts to which makes the mech unbalance. Mech parts choice is the most heavily emphasized aspect to this game.

Not gonna lie, these look like robot udders.
It's supposed to be a mining robot.

Wow, was warned by the internet that NewGame+'s ending hits hard. It certainly did.
/Tears in my eye. It's either the emotions, or the intense staring to track enemy armoredcores.
Doing NewGame++ now, there's a 3rd Ending.
-
Just beat it for the 3rd time to get the "True Ending".
That final boss was scary upfront but not so bad. It just had alot more health.
3 Different final bosses, 1 for each ending. That's going above and beyond.

LOLOLOL, looking forward to season 2 of Silo.

Wow, you can play most of the levels using completely Melee attacks. It becomes a punch /kick/swords game.
It utilizes the stagger mechanic ontop of direct-hit (multiplier) of the melee type arsenal to remain viable.
Of course the body type/ booster has to be matched to chase down the enemy and close distance.
-
Finally unlocked all parts and weapons.
Doing all the missions for S-rank now.
-
Tp4 is xperiencing intense am0r(ore withdrawal.
