Good day to all. This is an interest check for MM-HHKB :Happy Hacking all time!

1.Why we make the HHKB？
Have you remember our class 60? we also provide HHKB optional but the inner structure cannot be directly compatible with the original HHKB.
After fans’ appeal and discussion with our team, we decided to make the original HHKB.

2.How we define style？
HHKB is known for its minimalist and original OG style. After a long period
of preparation,we decide to inherit the HHKB style.

3. Details
About appearance: we did not add extra elements and keep directly adopted separation
from top and bottom case like original HHKB design.

3.1. Size: 29.67cm* 11.8cm(L*W) and the front is sloped with a height of 19.55mm.

3.2 This board case fits HHKB pro2, pro3 and Yang's BLE upgrading kit. Other HHKB pcb we can't test
and you need to check the size and connectors type to our back weight yourself.

3.3.the “HHKB”logo is engraved on the bottom case .

3.4. Weight options: brass or PC are available.

3.5.We add some slots on the fixed positions of the screws on the back.

3.6. Plate: Sandblasted Stainless steel or maybe alu, color is not decided.

3.7. Color Options: Ano Black, Ano Purple are provided. And E-white or E-vintage white will be voted.

4.How to ensure compatibility?
Since the size and height of the IC boards of Pro2 and Pro3 are different, that's why we bought Pro2 and Pro3.
Through more rounds of sample production, we successfully solved the compatibility problem by replacing two different weight for adaptation.

5.How to solve Bluetooth signal for Pro2 users who use YANG Bluetooth control board?
In fact, We also solved this problem by replacing the weight to PC material.

It will be slight differences in the EC housings’ size made by different times and brands.
Also, There is a loud noise when the switch sliders hits the top case because of no any foam o-ring.
Our solution is adding IXPE sheet to the housing.(after practical tests, which is very effective in reducing noise.）

Q：Will there be a 7U or 6.25U version for other layouts?
A: No, this keyboard kit is designed specifically for the HHKB 6u layout and will not be available in other layouts.
Q: Will there be additional sales of third party EC PCBS or other accessories?
A: No, we only provide the cases, so other accessories can directly use the original HHKB factory or the third party's replacement parts.

Agree with this as I think stainless steel would be far to stiff for a board like this.

Agree with all of this as well, as having more compatibility is always a good thing in those aspects.

Also will the pcb that comes with the kit will be via compatible, while the hhkb layout is what I use daily there are other layer options that aren't on the hhkb that are on my boards that I would `like to change.

Also it would be great if you fulfilled Class 60 or some other GB before running this since there has been so many bad runs and vendors lately.

We have only test the prototype with official HHKB pro2,pro3 pcb and we can't make sure it can work with all 3rd party pcb. But I have attached the inner size info in the ic, as the Cipulot pcb works well in hhkb original case, i think it ll work in ours. You can check it through the size info in the IC to confirm.
The weight can be bought as extras btw.

We have only test the prototype with official HHKB pro2,pro3 pcb and we can't make sure it can work with all 3rd party pcb. But I have attached the inner size info in the ic, as the Cipulot pcb works well in hhkb original case, i think it ll work in ours. You can check it through the size info in the IC to confirm.
The weight can be bought as extras btw.

Both the EC Pro 2 (original linked project) and the EC Pro X (the new revision, that has been shipping out for a bit, compatible with both Pro 2 and Pro3, aka Hybrid/classic) are drop-in of the OEM counterparts, therefore they should be fully compatible with both the Pro 2 and Pro 3 "backpiece".
If you guys want to check in and maybe offer the PCB in an eventual rerun/as an add-on kit feel free to contact me, either here or through discord (tag: cipulot).

I've not paid much attention to aftermarket HHKB stuff recently, although Iblove the original boards... Sounds like there are aftermarket OCBs and bits and oieces for a high quality MX clone, and now we have a worthy case to match.
Slightly off-topic, but maybe relevant for potential purchasers of this... What would be the ultimate MX HHKB setup using this case and the other aftermarket items available?

The GB ended up unsuccessfully and cancelled due to not hit 200 MOQ. I heard someone took over the design files and will have a private run in China. No further information.
