Title: Relaforce new user advice
Post by: diqkiq on Sat, 16 October 2010, 17:22:37
Hello. I just bought my first Realforce board. Its tenkeyless 55g. I wanted to swap the locations of Ctrl and Caps Lock button and I've been screwing with it for about half hour. A word of advice: set your switches BEFORE you plug in the board! Haha, I know, duh.

You aren't the first to fall into that trap, that's for sure.

Where did you find a tenkeyless 55g? Do you know where I could get one? =)

I thought we all know Leopold (http://www.leopold.co.kr/?doc=cart/item.php&it_id=1259715970) has blessed the Koreans.  Stateside, you either have to pony up the broker fees, or find someone willing to part with theirs used.

Whoah...$324.36 before shipping and whatever other ungodly fees I'd have to pay (I'm guessing it would end up at or over $400). No thanks :(

Welcome to Geekhack!  Thanks for the tip.

I nominate ItlnStln to write a DIP switch wiki.  Get that guy productive.

I have a real job.  The DIP switch wiki can be found in this thing called the manual that comes with the keyboard.

I have a 2-hour interview with my potential new director and Group VP in about 20 min., and I'm ****ing around here with you people.  Awesome.
