Looks good :thumb:noted :thumb:
Please consider putting a Esc in the alert kit.
Hello, is it only the sublegends that are UV printed?yes only the sublegends. tripleshot is too expensive.
Niiiice. The only thing I'd recommend is adding some macro keys (I am desperate for KKB to run macro keys in "boring" colours so this may help them decide to do that)i’m asking kkb for new doubleshot mold moq, let’s see if this is possible. if it doesn’t look bad, i’ll try to bring back gmk macros (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=117951.0) in kkb too.
I didn't realise the Irish language used ñ and umlauts. Why not call the addon kit US-International rather than Irish? I feel like "Just because it's green" is a lazy excuse in 2024. An actual Irish layout would be mostly the same as UK-ISO with some slight additions like fada over some legends.Just because it’s green.
3key 40s?maybe if there’s room.
accent esc and enter in base maybe?yessir
That is the best Windows key logo I've seen in a while. If this was blue or purple I'd be all over it.xyz alert sets are trending so to speak, I don't think it will be long before we see some other color on beige
love the addition kit. this may be my first KKB set.so far so good. kkb has few inconsistencies compared to gmk, but gmk also has inconsistencies to be fair. if you dont look at keyboard from like 3cm all the time, it’s not a problem. for the price i think it’s pretty damn good. i love their tray too.
any issues with the quality of previous KKB sets?
imo tripple shot is worth the extra price if it's possible. UV print feels kinda off somehowi may ask if this is possible, but most likely no. they’re pretty costly.
ne 40s availmaybe? i’m not gonna promise.
new renders and final kitting :thumb:Looking forward to this kit.
yes, i just got confirmation from divinikeynew renders and final kitting :thumb:Looking forward to this kit.
Do we have a US vendor yet?
new renders and final kitting :thumb:
i want to try kkb and it’s p much as good as gmk imo.new renders and final kitting :thumb:
No GMK? sad
Know when you’ll run it?hopefully next month. ;)
with everyone loving the GMK Red Alert and GMK Blue Alert, i’ve got a feeling that there will be interests in GMK Green Alert - the RGB trio. that’s why i decided to make the switch to GMK. it’s a bit of a gamble, but i believe it will turn out lovely. IC revamp soon! :)

this is not dead btw, just waiting for new renders.
in all seriousness, i just saw a new ic launch with similar color way, but coming up with similar looking sets always happen. may the best man win!

If you are talking about GMK Verdant Retro, I'd say the greens are quite different.Show Image(https://i.postimg.cc/yYTpTHg0/Colors-Green-Alert-Verdant-Retro.png)
Is there a difference in sales when the alert row is in base vs when it's not? I feel when a set is called "x" alert, the accent row should be included otherwise it is more like "OG/vintage "x". just curious is all.

afaik the original alert sets didn't even have "alert" rows in them. Though I do think alert row in base makes more sense nowadays.

I agree it makes sense for sets with "Alert" in the name to have the alert row in the Base kit. But you are correct that some Alert sets did not have accent rows. I took a look through KeycapLendar for some history.
Here are some sets that have sold / soon will:
6 with accent row in Base:
• GMK Prussian Alert - Apr '25
• GMK Lilies of the Valley - Jan '25
• DCS Lam Alert - Aug '24
• DCS Red Alert r4 - Aug '24
• DCS Red Alert r3 - Apr '20
• DCS Rebel Red Alert - Jun '11
8 with separate Accent row kit:
• GMK Green Alert - May '25
• PBTfans Corporate Beige (black) - Dec '24
• PBTfans Office Love (purple) - Dec '24
• PBTfans Overtime (red) - Dec '24
• PBTfans Touching Grass (teal) - Dec '24
• PBTfans Window View (blue) - Dec '24
• GMK Blue Alert r2 - Sep '24
• GMK Red Alert r2 - Mar '21
3 "Alert" sets with no accent row:
• GMK Blue Alert - Mar '17
• GMK Red Alert - Mar '15
• * DCS Klaxon! - Dec '12 (designer didn't want "Red Alert r3" name; had WoR, RoW, and RoG Alpha and Mod kits, so it was possible buy several to make accent rows)
• DCS Red Alert r2 - Jun '12
And here are some sets still in IC:
5 with accent row in Base:
• GMK Violet Alert - IC started Dec '24
• DCS Rouge Alerte - IC started Apr '24
• GMK Prussian Alert - IC started Feb '24
• DCS Pink Alert - IC started Feb '22
• GMK Redderish Alert - IC started Apr '21
3 with separate Accent row kit:
• SA A History of Violets - IC started Dec '24
• TUT Yakeylt - IC started Jul '24
• GMK 3077 - IC started Jun '23
Only other I can think of is GMK FTRO unless we're only focused on beige-ish sets
Also not beige like FTRO, but GMK Toxic has an alert row in it along with the non accent color row.
I know Verdant Retro is live now, but I love this set and I'm still holding out hope it runs in the near future!not dead, just waiting for the right time to launch
