Just a heads up, you can't kit out Whimsey with your set (needs a 1.25u r3 enter), and your 1.75u backspace should be r2, while your 1.25u tab should be r3.
I like the simplicity. I do think it could use just one novelty or even a metal artisan collab of a simplified sakura petal
two F12 keys? is the second one supposed to be an F13?
we love logan. considering
nice and simple. i like this :thumb:

cute
those huge base kits lack basic portions of an actual base kit while incorporating tons of extra stuff that that will needlessly drive the price up for the average user.
what should be added:
- numpad
- r3 1u pipeslash
what can be dropped entirely:
- uk iso
- r3 pgup/r4 pgdn
- r1 1u backspace
- r4 1u pipeslash
what should stay in a child kit:
- novelties
- true hhkb support (6u + 1.5u supers) + 40s support
again, renders look like WS4 more than L9, consider WS4
On your final note, I have colour samples in hand and am set on L9 and 3C. WS24 is way too bright for the muted colour profile I'm going for.
I was suggesting WS4 not 24.
FYI: The 4-key 40s Support in the Extension Kit is wrong, the 1.75U Backspace should be R2 and the 1.25U Tab should be R3. I also suggest putting Unit size labels on every key over 1U to make it easier for people to understand.
Cute set, btw
How do you call Korea home but name the kit after the japanese word
I do agree that Kura is way easier to remember, but 'Beotkkot' wouldn't really make me thing of 'Butt'.How do you call Korea home but name the kit after the japanese word
I'm surprised you're the first to ask this here, so here's the explanation: the word for cherry blossoms in Korean is 벚꽃 (pronounced but-ggot), a shortened version of the name of the fruit, which we used to call 버찌 (buh-jji). Now we just call the fruit 체리 like the rest of the world, but we kept the old word for cherry blossoms.
I don't know about you but calling a set GMK Butt doesn't sound as appealing to me haha.
Horrible kitting and bad pricing. Almost like SP pricing except its gmk...

It does feel odd to see Hangul sublegends only with a JP name, but yeah cherry blossoms aren't a Japan only thing. Maybe if you had made the base kit with hiragana sublegends (I know it's a contentious decision for those who prefer latin only for a more minimal aesthetic), it would match more thematically.
I wish you the best with the upcoming GB!
I'll be interested in seeing how this set goes given that you've decided to go with GMK in the current market, with the decision to cut numpad out of base kit to reduce its base kit price, whilst also separating the Hangul sublegend alphas.
