Anyone here has this little gem in your collection?
Percent Studio CANOE, 1st version in particular.
I'm trying to hunt one down, but its hard.
How does it feel, typing experience? Do you like it?

I have one. It's the Special Edition electrophoresis with red plate and weight. I built it with lubed Gateron black switches (the ones with PC clear tops). Quite stiff typing experience with a bit of a hollow metallic sound. I have an extra FR4 plate and PCB that I still need to try out some day. Looking for switches with a lower pitch to even it out. Overall... looks super cool... not a great typing experience, but fixable.
I think with some heavily lubed switches that are all nylon, and FR4 plate, and a force break mod it would sound a lot better. Just need to get it rebuilt. I also wonder what it would feel/sound like if you removed the mounting position on the bottom by the space bar.

I had one back in the day. The board itself is okay if you like the design, but the PCB is horrible to the point that there was a run for an aftermarket one. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have the aftermarket PCB.

Yeah I heard awful things about the PCB as well, but the board itself seems fine, even if I don't like 65%. And it seems that the mechmarket discord has some for sale, so looking there might be the best option.
