Wow, someone grabbed both while I was making a post. Welp.

I found this specification for the Victor 9000:
http://www.commodore.ca/history/people/chuck_peddle/Sirius_1_Victor_9000_Specification.pdf (http://www.commodore.ca/history/people/chuck_peddle/Sirius_1_Victor_9000_Specification.pdf)
For the keyboard they list this:
* Separate 8048 microprocessor
* Software definable 7 or 10 soft function keys
* Full IBM Selectric II (56 key) keyboard layout
* Type ahead buffering to 32 levels and full n-key rollover
* Capacitive keyswitches rated for 100 million operations
* keyboard contains PCB with on-board drivers
I wonder what type of capacitive switches they have, if they're something like the IBM Model F's of that era or something different. Anyone ever tried one and if so how do they feel? Those cupped Selectric-type keycaps look awesome. Quite an impressive spec for a keyboard of that era.

Supposedly they're linears.

would've like to put caps like those on my model m's

You mean the one for the Victor 9000 system (eBay listing calls it a Model 721) are supposedly linears, right? Then what about the other one, the 3300, is that also linear? Same switches in both or different?

I wanted that Victor 9000 keyboard. Now I'll have to wait another 10 years to find one.
