Title: Zuoya GMK67 new revision, should I remove the plastic film?
Post by: on Tue, 02 July 2024, 09:40:31
I recently sold my last Zuoya GMK67 mechanical keyboard and decided to build another one.
For my surprise, this is a new revision, now come with a plastic film stick to the PCB.
Should I remove it?

In the video I left it there. I would to know your experience with this budget board.

Finnally I decided to remove the plastic film, it was very difficult to put the switches in trough it. Then swaping the switches and keycaps for a thockier sound profile.
I ran out of switches so I had to top it off with some Gaterons.
