Please consider making the badge optional - the user will have a choice to put a badge or a switch.

Also, the badge kinda reminds me of Gmail...

I second that. The board overall looks nice, but gets a bit busy with the badge there too. I'd rather have an extra key there. Maybe instead of the top right badge, you could make the logo above the exploded arrows accept optional badges (by default would just be as-is)

I hope you'd be able to make the badge optional and/or offer other colors for the badge. A tricolor badge matching the theme of the bottom housing would be sick with this board too.
