As part of the Monochrome Series, Dolch is back and this time a bit more classy. ;D

What is the Monochrome Series?
Simply put it's my take on Classic two tone cherry keysets, like Dolch & Beige that have been around for a long time and using a single colour for a keyset with the inclusion of Icon mods and some cool things that have never been done before. These kits are similar to Classic Beige,WOB,BOW that GMK already has instock(with a few modifications) and will also work with any version of Dolch.

Update- I didn't really make a GB thread for this since I was on vacation and a few other reasons. So I thought I would post an update here. We got a Jane collaboration with KLC which was amazing and I wanted to thank Kevin and Yutski for considering it. The GB will be conducted by KLC sometime in January. Aside from that all kits will be made and be sold instock @ GMK. This would not have been possible if it was a typical GB and many child kits would have been cancelled.The production timeline for this project is also relatively quick.
This project was an experiment and something I knew was insane from the start, keycap sales have been declining immensely(almost 40%) compared to last year. The only reason I didn't cut down on kits is because GMK does not have Classic Dolch in stock(something that I have wanted for quite some time) anyways thanks to those who joined the pre-order and didn't constantly complain about things.
Do not expect another project like this by me atleast. :D

Same colours as Dolch R5 are used so ppl can use the child kits with it if they prefer text+icon mods

Hard agree with your take on Oco, eh I mean Type Machina or whatever they want to call themselves. Was super pissed they put the kibosh on Superweld also. I get they came up with the Hyperfuse colorway, but FFS they haven't made everyone from OG GB whole AFAIK! Like how was a small run of it in DCS with a different name gonna affect them in any way???? Oh well rant over... As far as this set goes I really love the ideal! Not completely sold on the mono base, but just because I already got Nines. I am definitely considering grabbing the base with alt alphas! Also that extension kit is a must have if nothing else! Awesome work as always Cartersrush!

Superweld getting stopped is just dumb. The original hyperfuse is stock SP colors. The GMK version is a recreation.

There's an extra B in the spacebars kit but no 2.75u bar. Is this an oversight?
Also, a second 2.25u shift key would be fantastic for full Type-K support (the 3u bars are crying out for it).

Originally that was the plan but I don't own Dolch R5 and don't really like R5 bottom row either also adding MonoDolch Alphas on DCS Dolch made a lot of ppl want a cherry version.

Nice! I had the idea of running this set since Emir left the hobby with only one set undone: GMK Scitex.

Emir’s idea was to have N9 base and CP legends, with the Scitex blue F row and Enter in base. Also, the icon Caps and the icon Backspace in place of the purse Caps and the Xbox backspace. My suggestion would have been R5 bottom row. What about including at least a Scitex kit in your set?

I said a few of these things in my IC form so apologies for the repetition but there are few things that I think should be noted here too.

I'll state by biases upfront and say that I really can't stand it when number pad caps have navigation legends on them as well, but I think that for such a minimal set it really clashes, just the way that it does on sets like WoB (but yes, I know, preferences). As you put the decision on whether they should be included or not up to vote in your Discord, I think that you should have the same option here on Geekhack too. In Discord, there's only been 30 or so of us who have responded which is a really tiny sample size, especially considering how many reads you've had here on Geekhack. You could open up a new form, as those of us who have already completed the IC form won't be able to go back and edit.

Thank you so much for including a UK ISO kit, but the renders for the kit are wrong - the 2 and 3 caps are those used in Portuguese ISO (I think) rather than UK ISO. The board renders with ISO are UK correct, though.

Lastly, it's a shame that the r3 function and numpad = keys have gone from the extension kit. The former, I'm guessing really doesn't have a huge amount of demand (and you've chosen a r3 stepped super in its place) but the = key is more and more becoming part of base kits. I'd suggest having it there, but if not it'd be a real shame not to have it in the extensions. Speaking of the extension kit, how possible would it be to have a barred 5 cap as you're including the barred F and Js? Last but not least on this kit, I don't think that the 1u AltGr cap makes much sense and should be simply be 1u Alt to go with the 1.5u supers. As they tend to be used with MacOS/Linux, the graph designation is redundant, no?

Regardless, GLWIC; this is an exciting one.
