Title: wireless with 8m range

hey,
i'm looking for a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. most important here is range, it should reliably work over a distance of about 8m. all i've tried so far maxes out at 3-5m. is there such a thing? if you want to suggest a bluetooth solution you should know that there is a WLAN router (linksys, 2,4GHz) as well as a 2 DETC phones in the room. i think that this can reduce performance?

background: it's for a gaming system connected to a 55" TV. The computer is behind said TV (and MUST stay there), the distance between TV and Sofa is about 8m. just buying an USB hub which bridges some of the way is not a good solution because i don't want any cables in the living room.
also the input lag shouldn't be too high (gaming system..)

any ideas?

Get a 2.4GHz wireless keyboard that uses a micro dongle. Plug the dongle into the end of a USB extension lead so it is in direct line of sight, but discretely hidden.

Yup, diNovo Edge works good on the cordless front.
