Title: [DE] Anybody from Munich here? 150 IBM Boards
Post by: VentiLator on Tue, 26 October 2010, 11:12:21
just saw this:
http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300479436380&_trksid=p2759.l1259

well, 150 KBs, there has to be at least ONE interesting piece there, right?

but shipping is a little high so my question: are there any users from munich who could take at least a look at that package?

Not necessarily. This is not the early 2000s any more, when a 10-year-old IBM keyboard typically meant a Model M. Since the seller specifies them as having Win keys, chances are they're all rubber domes from 1996 onwards. They could be average or better-than-average ones depending on model, but still rubber domes - not the kind of stuff that I'd need a palletload of.

Good idea.

I typed on one just like a few minutes ago when I was throwing away garbage. Mushy crap. Avoid!

@Findecanor: there are different models, not just that one in the picture.

I'm from Augsburg, thats about 80km from the guy... If approx. 80 of them were Modell Ms, that would be worth to drive... but like this... hmm... perhaps you could ask the seller for additional pics? Probably I would then resell them here or on ebay... perhaps all the other 149 are IBM space savers... :plane:
