What's so great about them? What kind of switches? Are they NKRO?

I am also curious about the switches on this board. I cannot find much information about Cherry Gold MX switches.

Cherry Gold Crosspoint MX key switches simply refer to the family of Cherry MX switches that we call blue, brown, black, clear, etc.

Those keyboards do have doubleshots

i was looking at these, but im almost positive they're blacks, only keyboard like that with browns was the compaq one

Wonder if those have double-shot Windows/Menu keys. Either way, they're definitely worth $30.

Cherry made some very desireable Compaq  (http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=7009962507) keyboards, and there's some on the market which has a little bit of je ne sais quoi. Also it's approx half the price of the Cherry G80-1863 HUMUS.
CHERRY MXG80-1800 (Brown + Double Shot) + no Evil-Empire key.

Yeah, the windows-keys are double-shots but they are to small for a standard lay-out..

For us Euro-socialists that layout is fine, we don't have those huge
shift-keys on our layouts so it's always a problem finding a double-shot donor board .
( Or rather : 1 donor-board is rarely enough )

30 bucks for a set of brand-new cherry double-shots, that's what's great about them,
besides the black linear switches and the compact design ..
Also, Spanish and English are the 2 most spoken Western languages and I speak both,
wouldn't mind having a keyboard that does so to ..

I will pay 55$ each plus shipping to anyone who buys these and is willing to ship to Europe for a fair price, I'll buy 2 !

Windows/menu keys are not double shot here, AFAIK. They are also single spaced.
