Introduction:

Four months after our initial interest check post, the Osidian TKL group buy is going live. Our team is excited to finally release to the world a project we've been working on for nearly two years. We sought to combine the natural materials of marble and quartzite into our own line of luxury keyboards, creating a unique and versatile product that not only serves as a functional accessory, but as a focal point of beauty. From slab to casing, each kit is produced using a combination of machining and hand-finishing techniques, and will be available in a selection of colorways shortly. We've had a blast developing this keyboard, and can't wait to release more details on some exciting future projects soon!

this is going to lead to some unhappy customers who get subpar pieces of marble. and having customers source their own pcb instead of including them in a $400 kit is crazy to me.

good luck. i can only see this going poorly.

We appreciate your concern and value your feedback. We have strict quality control processes when it comes to manufacturing the cases for these kits. We ensure each casing is accurate and completely functional, and the stone is sourced from only highly-reputable manufacturers which we have worked closely with. Designing and manufacturing a casing from marble is very challenging and costly, and we worked tirelessly to ensure these kits would be as cost efficient as possible.
