this time for surei know you like it. i included 3 keys 40s, dont bully me.
ive wanted this set since I've been in the hobby too.. genuinely nothing but hope it goes cuz ill be all inthis time for surei know you like it. i included 3 keys 40s, dont bully me.
Classic kit is kinda redundant. If you swapped FRow with base kit, that one would be just a gray set.adding purple accents in base would break up the look of purple f row. i added gray accents for that reason.
Would loose the grey Enter keys, move purples into base kit, loose gray FRow. Add purple arrow cluster.
Leave Gamer kit as it is.
If possible, kindly add split left shift if ISO is in kit.
That's a really nice looking set. And different enough from NTD for me to want this one too.thanks! added them for you now.
I'd like to see 2705C (up/left) and Cubed purple (down/right) arrows added to the base.
This looks a lot cleaner than GMK NTD :thumb:This idea is derived from the og gmk snes which is to replicate the looks of the controller using wasz and hhkb arrow accents.
The accent arrows look excellent. Not sure about WASZ as highlighted caps though, do people use that instead of WASD?
the fact you did a render with a polycarbonate spyder that i can NEVER get my hands on makes me so upset, but super clean set :)your welcome! ;D
EU SNES as a separate base kit and we are talking.nah
I appreciate the inclusion of the alt alphas, makes it so you can have a full set without the NA SNES purples and really differentiates it from GMK NTD. One thing I've found with NTD is that I don't think the purple legends go all that well with the colorful SFC/EU SNES accents (despite always looking decent in renders), so the alt alpha kit fixes that.added the arrows keys!
That said, the light purple up/left and dark purple right/down arrows do look good on NTD, so you might want to include those here for people who want to go full NA SNES and love the purple.

you can actually, but not in a “normal layout”. the kitting allow you to use alt alphas on another keyboard.I appreciate the inclusion of the alt alphas, makes it so you can have a full set without the NA SNES purples and really differentiates it from GMK NTD. Very understandable but it's shame that the alt alpha kit is 3 keys away from being usable in 60% boards (backspace, enter, spacebar).
Anyways good luck with the GB.
after some thought from the feedback, i decided that N16 will focus more on Famicom SNES rather than trying to cover both versions.
because: 1. covering 2 versions in this economy? :'( 2. separating from NTD
i have some plans for N16 up my sleeves, but i'm afraid i can't share it rn. ;D
Going all SFC/EU SNES makes sense to me too.
The one thing I really liked that has now been removed was the light grey text on grey R3 and R4 mods from the previous alt kit. The colored text on them, as you have them now, looks simultaneously busy and a bit anemic to me (some color, but it doesn't pop the way the SNES buttons did). Though I get why people would like them. I'd just love to have an option to have all grey mods to pair with the full-color accent arrow keys.
All grey mods would also make the purple F-row make more sense, since otherwise you'd have to mix purple and the four SFC/EU SNES colors. Though maybe all the purple should just be dropped to keep things focused.
totally hear you man. i tried rendering both all grey mods and colored, and i personally prefer the colored ones. i feel that grey mods separate 60% from f-row and arrow cluster section. adding a splash of colors will stitches the set together as a whole.
