Title: NEO65 alternative
Post by: R0derick on Thu, 17 October 2024, 09:26:17
Hello, good afternoon,

I want to build a keyboard and I am looking for a kit, I like the NEO65 but I would also like to see what alternatives there are currently for the same price range because the NEO65 is already out some time ago. It doesn't have to be only 65%.

Thanks!  :D

Looks like the neo65 is still available on the qwertykeys site. For alternatives the other neo/qk stuff on there is really good for the price.

If you're from Asia rn, you should try out the Lucky65 V2.

Its a budget Aluminum Keyboard with bells and whistles features like South-Facing LEDs, QMK/VIA Compatibility, Ball-Catch latch, and hideable Dongle from the keyboard back's aluminum piece. All in a price of $80 in Velocifire or Php 2200-3000 in Shopee PH.

That looks super good. Is there any reason you say if you're from Asia? I looked it up and they seem to ship the Lucky65 V2 everywhere for what seems to be a very reasonable rate.

I just thought this product hasn't reached to other countries yet due to lack of legitimate reviews from guys like NearLucid, Alexotos, Keybored, and Merkeebs (and also Hipyo despite being more into gimmicky and low-budget territory).

Ah. It might have only recently shipping outside of Asia then. Tempting to try it. $90 shipped is hard to beat.
