Keyboards will probably still exist, right?
But if AI agents just execute commands in the future, and take over creative occupations.
Even coders, they'd probably be the last humans who know how to touch type, would have a hard time justifying the need to learn it.
People wouldn't write essays anymore, or screen plays, etc? And as long as we don't have a major CME that disrupts bandwidth, younger peeps would just keep using audio messages for async. It's only slightly slower than text.
Watch out programmers, these super cute' AI agent girl's are coming to take your jobs.

There are other persons who "write" in multiple ways, and typing whole sentences and paragraphs are certainly more conducive to touch typing than the short bursts that occur in coding.

There won't be in the future. Literacy in general might not be required.

Will the youth of the 21st century become addicted to the Internet?
Will you use internet in everyday life?
The law of headlines ignore time, and exponential growth.

But without a keyboard, how could I press the Copilot key to summon my AI overload?

We'll probably have an AI cam and EM field sensors that can't be turned off in the future on phones. The devices will feed that data to the cloud and Microsoft will be fully aware and anticipatory of your entire mental state.

*spots GiTS UHD*
It's a pity it's OoP but at least I grabbed one.
Will you use internet in everyday life?
Will disc quality films stop being released in the near future?

Tp4 suspects studio films might not exist in the future.
People will just buy tokens, and generate custom shows and movies. There's also no need to archive since you will never run out.
Assuming everyone's still alive that is.
It's like if you REALLY know how to play guitar, you don't need to write anything down, you just have to remember the chord progressions, and you're good to go.

We will all use tactile keyboards in virtual reality, once we've each been implanted with a neural interface.
